Mounted on a 24-inch diameter, reinforced nylon base, this drafting and artist chair both durable and attractive. The pneumatic height is operated by a simple side lever, as is the tilting seat. Contoured foam pads mold to the user's body.

    I work from home and needed a better seat than a high wooden bench. I'd looked at many artist/drafting chairs, but none seemed to feel right to me...the reviews for this chair and the price was so good, I decided to take a chance.
    It's feels great!
    Easy to put together.
    One thing you should know...my chair smelled terrible coming out of the box! But so does a tempurpedic mattress and after a week, the smell has died down considerably.
    I spoke with a lovely Hayneedle customer service rep who told me that if the smell didn't go away...they would send me a new chair. That helped me feel better.
    I highly recommend this chair...it feels great...adjusts to how you like to sit...it swivels and glides smoothly.
