About the Kangaroo Kabinets Wallaby Sewing Cabinet
Small on size but huge on functionality, the Wallaby Kangaroo Cabinet by Arrow (formerly by Koala) will have you organized in no time. Constructed of engineered wood and pressboard, this cabinet is available in two finishes to best suit your home. When it's folded up, this cabinet is no bigger than a standard dresser or buffet, but swing open the front doors, and you'll instantly create an entire workspace for yourself. When you're done, you simply swing the doors shut, and lock it up tight.
A three-position airlift will hold your sewing machine up to 19W x 9 5/8D inches, and this lift moves up and down so your machine is at the right height for you. While your primary machine sits on the lift, there's space on the left of the cabinet for a serger or a second sewing machine. A quilt leaf on the back lifts easily, expanding your work space for quilts, curtains, or other large projects. The large door features clear trays to keep your notions well organized and a large drawer on the other side is perfect for fabric or bulkier items.

Comments about Kangaroo Kabinets Wallaby Sewing Cabinet with Free Chair:
I just bought a used (and a bit older) model of this cabinet from my best friend. I've not ever owned a sewing cabinet and I've sewed since I was 12 years old, (that's 52 yrs). I LOVE this cabinet. It is a great size if you don't have a large room and when folded up, looks like a piece of nice furniture. It holds everything I need handy and is absolutely the perfect height. I am wondering why I didn't get one of these years ago! I would definitely recommend it and it is nice quality.
It was already assembled when I acquired it but I'm sure it would be easy.

Comments about Kangaroo Kabinets Wallaby Sewing Cabinet with Free Chair:
I researched sewing cabinets for several months & decided that the Kangaroo Wallaby was just perfect for my sewing needs. My husband & I put it together & were both impressed with the quality of the cabinet. I am thankful that my husband is very detail oriented & was able to put it together without much difficulty. It did take several hours to put together, but was well worth it when we were done. All in all, I think this is the perfect cabinet for me.

Assy Instructions could show position better. Put a print of an actual screw to help pick the right size.
A lot of money for a press paper unit.

Comments about Kangaroo Kabinets Wallaby Sewing Cabinet with Free Chair:
I mostly sew quilts but do other types of sewing/crafts. I needed a sewing cabinet that had storage with an extended table for quilting. My space is very specific. I looked for 1+ years before deciding on this model. I like that the lift isn't electric and is very well built. My husband assembled it. He had a question-we did an email and an 800 call and rec'vd responses from both..Great service response. The web assembly video was informative as well. The plastic "holders" on the inside of the drawer do not look like they hold much,,but I was able to put a lot in them. I am disappointed in the locking system. The door lock itself is metal but the key is plastic-cheap!! I am very careful when locking it. It needs to be locked to stay closed. I also got the acrylic insert at a discount when I purchased the cabinet. It's edges were thick (not rounded, etc) which cause a higher abrupt edge when guiding material from cabinet surface to insert surface. I am going to a glass shop for the 3rd time to smooth down the edges-it'll work out. The time I have sewn on it since getting it in Nov. has been delightful. I also like that I don't have to totally open up the cabinet to sew. I can just flip out & up a few pieces & I am sewing!
