The Venture Horizon Lamont Double Mobile Desk provides an extra-long workspace. Opens to create a workspace 72 inches wide. Folds down to 19 inches wide, 18 inches deep, and 29 inches high to help you save space when you aren't using it. Six dual-track carpet casters let you roll the desk wherever you need it. Five central drawers make it easy to reach stored accessories from either side. The white-finished desk features beadboard details on the side with nickel-finish handles, and the light wood-finished desk features bronzed handles. The black desk has nickel-finished handles. Use this large double desk for working on your sewing, crafts, and for general work.

The item description states "The white-finished desk features beadboard details on the side with nickel-finish handles." That is not true. The white desk has no beadboard details and the handles are white plastic. I was really disappointed in this because I thought those details would make it look less cheap.
The assembly is a major pain, but if you know that ahead of time you can prevent frustration by planning for it and expecting the instructions to be foolish and unhelpful. The hinges are super annoying, and when my husband saw me assembling the drawers with glue he joked that it looked like I was building a model airplane. Those drawers are total garbage!
I bought this item because I need room for a sewing machine and a serger. The fold-down feature is useless to me and that part of the assembly with the hinges was the worst, so I was kind of annoyed that I didn't need to go through all that. Any other sewing table with room for two machines is very, very expensive, so I would still buy this table but I wish I had another choice. It will serve a practical purpose for a few years, but it looks cheap.

Easy to put together, Instructions were clear, However the hardware not being labeled and loose in one bag was a little tricky. But other than that it's a nice table.

I do machine embroidery. The size of the table is perfect. I use the right side for my computer. The machine sits on the left side and all the scissors and equipment are on the middle section. I love the fact that I can just use one part of the table at a time or just close up the whole thing if I'm not using it. And the storage is amazing. The drawers hold more than I would ever have imagined. Luckily, my little trays that I've used elsewhere fit into the drawers and make organization just awesome! I put this unit together by myself. It took time, but wasn't really hard. It looks good for what it is. I just highly reccommend this if you quilt or machine embroidery.

Q1: Do any the wheels lock?
A: Yes, at least 2 of the casters on the Spartak desks will lock.
Q2: Can the left side be let down and still be able to work on the right side or does both sides have to up?
A: You do not have to have both sides up, you can still use the table with one side down.
