I bought the cabinet mainly because I redecorated my sewing room and this fit perfectly with my decor. I love the fact that my sewing maching is down and hidden when not in use and a simple push brings it up.

I bought this cabinet about a year ago and have found it to be exactly what I needed for my sewing room, which is fairly small. I use it for sewing, quilting and crafts. The construction is sturdy and reliable and I have had no problems with the machine lift at all. The only thing I wish I'd done was to order the customized insert for my particular sewing machine. The one that comes with the cabinet is a rough fit at best with my sewing machine and it's difficult to sew things that require a true flat surface for best results. I will be buying the insert now.

The cabinet is well made, everything lined up perfectly, however the instructions were not good. Because my husband has experience he got it together with little difficulty, but it might be harder for a novice.
It was worth the effort, it fits my machine beautifully and I love it.

The only thing I dislike is the fact that I can't get an insert for my size sewing machine. I called the number in the instructional catalog and the person who answered the phone told me that the insert for my Huskqvarna machine wouldn't work with this table! That is very discouraging since this is my first sewing table!

Wonderful storage solution for my machine. It is attractive and easy to access. Since I have RA, the lift is a wonderful aid so I do not have to haul the sewing machine up to a table myself. The assembly however is really a problem; confusing directions and poor sequence. My husband had to call for help -- but rec'd a return call within less than 24 hours. The universal insert included isn't universal. And when I ordered the cabinet I told the person what kind of machine I had. It would have been helpful if they had told me I needed to order a custom insert in order to use the machine in the flatbed position; I could have done so then. However, now that it is up, I am pleased.
