What We Like About the Roberts 6900 Sewing Cabinet


This high-quality sewing cabinet has a large opening to fit most sewing machines. The electric lift is operated with a simple flip of a switch and raises your machine smoothly and quietly with a strong pinion motor. The tabletop flips open to two automatically supported leaves, and a removable plastic notions tray is located under one side for extra organization. An accessory bin hangs on the inside of the door, and a power strip is attached to the inside of the cabinet. This product is made in USA.


Five strong casters make this table mobile for your convenience. Each of the drawers is supported with a durable metal glide, and the piano hinge ensures stability for the heavy oak door. A 19 3/4-inch/centimeter adhesive ruler is included for you to apply where desired. Order an insert and customize your cabinet to your machine.

    This is a gorgeous piece of furniture! You can't tell it is a sewing table. I love the fact that it locks - it keeps my grandchild safe! Plenty of storage and easy to move. The electric lift is absolutely wonderful. I enjoy sewing for my daughter and grandchildren and this just makes it so easy instead of having to drag everything out to the dining room table and messing up the whole house.

      I have been looking for a sewing machine cabinet for some time. I finally decided that this cabinet might be what I wanted. It is even better than I expected. The cabinet is solid and very well constructed. It is a beautiful piece of furniture that came assembled except for attaching the castors, which was very easy. The drawers are held shut by the door when it is closed, and the door can be locked to completely secure the drawers, an important feature when my small grandchildren visit. I initially thought the insert was cut incorrectly, but when the accessory compartment is removed, the insert fits perfectly. I could not be more pleased with my cabinet!

      I had a Roberts sewing cabinet for over 30 years, & it still looked like new until the fire destroyed it. No question that I would get another Roberts cabinet, & this one has an electric lift so that I can easily store the machine out of sight. It even locks so that the grandchildren can't get into it. Quality furniture with ample & convenient storage.
