The Beldin Mobile Sewing Desk in Walnut has a small footprint but a big impact. It gives you plenty of work space, but also folds up neatly for storing. It's covered in walnute colored melamine to create a smooth, easy-to-clean surface that's perfect for working on. Three drawers offer storage for your patterns, pins, scissors, threads and more. When you're done with your project, simply store your sewing machine in the closet and lower the work table. Now the unit is only about the size of the drawer cabinet. With easy-swivel casters, it'll be a snap to wheel it into a corner until your next sewing task calls you.

AS SOON AS YOU MOVE IT A LITTLE IT GETS CAUGHT ON ITSELF BECAUSE THE LEAF THAT FOLDS OVER ON THE SIDE MAKES IT TOO HEAVY AND ITS NOT STRONG ENOUGH. THE SCREWS THAT CAME WITH IT ARE WAY TOO SMALL. AND GEE, YOU WOULD THINK THEY COULD ADD A FEW MORE IN THE PACKAGE IN CASE YOU LOSE ONE OR TWO. OH NO, THEY GIVE U JUST ENOUGH. THEN, ONE OF THE CAMS WOULD NOT STAY IN AND KEPT FALLING OUT AND I ALSO HAD A HARD TIME PUTTING THE TOP ON. ALTHOUGH THE REST WAS SIMPLE TO PUT TOGETHER. ITS A LITTLE HARD TO FOLD AND UNFOLD THE UNIT ON CARPET, SO I HAVE TO LEAVE IT ALWAYS OPEN AND CAN'T MAKE IT COMPACT. THE REASON I PURCHASED THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE WAS FOR THE FACT THAT I COULD FOLD THE ONE SIDE AND MAKE IT SMALLER. ALL IN ALL, ITS AN OK SEWING TABLE FOR THE MONEY AND IF YOU DON'T MOVE IT ON CARPET IT WONT FALL APART ON YOU.

      The sewing table was more than I expected but exactly what I needed for the space I had. The fold down section is a brilliant idea for small spaces, while providing a full table to work on. It was just perfect for my needs. My husband and I put it together in a couple of hours. It is a hefty piece of furniture but the wheels make it easy to move, and the drawers were big enough to hold all my sewing things. I like this table very much.

            The product rating doesn't mean anything because ithasn't been opened it yet - it's a christmas present. Just wanted to include comments about the delivery.

            Service and delivery comments:

            Delivery was very prompt - 2 days sooner than expected. However, it was delivered and left outside backdoor overnight in the rain without any covering except for the slight roof overhang. The box was wet (but I don't think soakede through) when I brought it in the next morning. It was probably outside 10 hours.

            difficult to understand directions -need written to go with pictures
            cheap screws- strip easily- so if you make a mistake cannot remove and reinsert- also holes that the screws go in are not drilled well- difficult to screw in
